code!

do you know how many emails i have sent with that title recently? that and "old micro-p tests", although the latter is mainly due to replying to old emails out of laziness.

i decided to update my blog instead of wasting even more time on facebook. i feel this is slightly more productive. maybe.

to summarize my life for the past few days:
  • i spent the majority of wednesday studying for my micro-p test. i feel a heck of a lot better about this one then the last one. i imagine i'll still get a 'B' in this class, but oh well, i still enjoyed the class a lot.

  • wednesday and thursday i programmed for operating systems and we turned in our last two projects. cool

  • also found out wednesdayish that our ewb project in honduras where were going to be designing and installing a water system is scrapped because someone else just kind of installed one. sigh.

  • went to bed last night at 9:30. it was amazing. got up at 6 and took a shower with intent to program. went back to bed for another hour. proved my patheticness once again.

  • worked on robot this afternoon for about 5 hours. it actually kind of worked. i think mechanicals may not think we are incompetant any longer. sweet.

  • tried to get saferide to take us to barnes and noble tonight. i think the girl on duty thought we were crazy. totally lame.

  • pancake breakfast at jaime and laura's tomorrow. yay. then on to another day full of programming: database and maybe micro-p. at least the two are entirely different.

i'm totally ready to be home again.

plans/things to get done over break:
  • vocabulary: for my own personal benefit and as gre prep

  • scholarship applications

  • reu applications

  • google application

  • application for outstanding junior (because that obviously applies to me...)

i'm sure i'll come up with lots of other ideas that are lovely but also won't happen.

that's all for today. i need to go program more.

I was distressed not to find "spend time with my wonderful sister who's coming home especially to see me" as one of the things you plan to do over break.
